The NH Highland Games had been held at Loon Mountain for the previous 27 years, but in 2003 the games were held at Hopkinton State Fair Grounds. This was my first and last visit to the "Games at Loon". It was a very brief visit. The day was hot and it was quite crowded, but the view was fantastic and there was an air of excitement that was contagious. I wished that I could stay longer.
